Our lightweight ,highly ventilated open mesh with seamless upper construction, no heel counter, seamless toe cap, and elastic tongue stabilizer ensure the perfect barefoot feel. Because there is no heel counter, you can also wear the Boulders as a slide. This is super convenient when traveling through security or popping your shoes on quickly. They also pack down super tight for efficient packing.
Stretch Laces for Effortless Wear No more tedious tying and untying of shoelaces. Our shoes feature stretch laces and toggles that provide a secure fit while ensuring you slip them on and off with ease.
MIDSOLE
A firm yet responsive midsole foam formula designed to enhance shock absorption for a stable cushioned ride. Forefoot open air ports provide ventilation and water drainage. Superior ventilation and comfort offer a natural running experience.
SOCKLINER
Contoured removable sockliner, high resilient foam for long-lasting cushioning; and removable to accommodate custom orthotics.

TECHNOLOGY
The forefoot gridwork pattern provides movement on impact enhancing shock absorption and rebound.
The inside of shoe next to your heel bone is a softer density foam that forms under pressure to cradle and stabilize your rearfoot. As you wear the shoes, the overall drop will settle from 6mm to 3mm. This allows the foot to land more parallel to the ground for a more efficient natural running gait.
CLEANING CARE
The Boulders are super easy to clean. Just pop them in the washing machine for a quick, gentle, COLD cycle. Use a mild detergent and let them air-dry. Any super dirty spots can be hand washed with a soft brush or old toothbrush.
SIZING
Women's sizes 6-9 are running a half size small. We recommend going up a half size from you normal running shoe size.
Men's 11.5-13 are running a half size big. We recommend sizing down a half size.

I was traveling to Paris Olympics 2024 and wanted a pair of running shoes that would take me from a workout to walking up the Eiffel Tower and looking chic. The Active88 Boulder/Lightweight Runner Grey/White were PERFECT! The size runs a bit small for my wide feet, and I am probably a 7 3/4 (which doesn't exist). so I opted for a 7 1/2 (because my ego would not allow me to wear a size 8, LOL). The great news is that despite feeling a bit snug when I first slipped my feet inside, they immediately adapted and became literally foot mittens, perfection. BTY, these work for me running trails too, I love the low heels which is a must so that I don't roll my ankle. Cheers Active 88 to a GREAT design and experience.
